Tickets for the Dumfries and Galloway Business Awards are on sale now.
The Business Awards are now being judged and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner event hosted by Catriona Shearer - best known for waking up the nation as the face of Scotland’s Breakfast TV bulletins. She also anchors the flagship news programme Reporting Scotland on a regular basis and has hosted the programme live from Wimbledon.
Outwith the news agenda, Catriona has presented a BBC 1 documentary on the Pope’s visit to Scotland and as a keen music fan, has covered T in the Park live for television and has hosted the New Music Zone for BBC Radio Scotland. Newscaster turned quizmaster when Catriona presented a radio quiz series for BBC Radio Scotland called Soundbiters.
The event will showcase outstanding examples of how the business community is driving forward the local economy.
